Description:

Hysteroscopes can be divided into diagnostic and surgical types, and they also come in flexible and rigid forms, 

used for diagnosing or treating uterine problems. A hysteroscope is a thin, telescope-like device that is inserted 

into the uterus through the vagina. The hysteroscope transmits images of the patient's uterus to a screen. 

Other instruments are used in conjunction with the hysteroscope for treatment. The hysteroscopic resectoscope 

is similar to the transurethral resectoscope, allowing the entry of an electrosurgical loop to scrape tissue, such as 

removing fibroids. It is used for tissue cutting and resection in gynecological hysteroscopic electrosurgery.
